Hello and welcome to the launch of Primary Progression and our very first blog! I am very excited to finally be launching the website and connecting with all of you. For the very first blog post I thought it would be great to introduce myself and Primary Progression.
Welcome to Our New Website!
Who am I?
My name is Hannah Taylor and I am a fully qualified teacher with experience in Primary education. I have such a passion for supporting children progress their learning, not just academically but socially, emotionally and mentally as well. I also have a degree in Media Arts and Creative and Professional Writing, so here at Primary Progression I get to combine my passions of education, media and writing together to help all of you in supporting your primary aged children make amazing progress!
A little more detail…
I was born and raised in Hillingdon, in the lovey (odd weathered) England. I attended St Marys University in Twickenham where I completed my undergraduate degree (Media Arts and Creative and Professional Writing) as well as my teacher PGCE training. I come from a family that loves working in education, from immediate family to cousins. Education is just in our blood. Whilst training to be a teacher I was a tutor and then was incredibly excited to finally have my own classroom. Years later I still enjoy supporting children with their education and helping schools be the best they can be. My goal now is to reach as many teachers, trainees, parents and carers as possible to progress their children’s learning.
What is Primary Progression is all about?
What will Primary Progression have available you ask? Well, we have many plans on how to expand what we will have available. My intentions are to have lesson plans, resources, videos, blogs, consultations, tutoring, CPD… the list goes on.
